Welcome to our cozy Swedish log house cottage at Kvarnviks Gård, set in a peaceful and private corner of our farm, just 2.5 km from the sea. Surrounded by open fields and nature, the cottage offers a relaxing countryside atmosphere while still being close to the coast, charming villages, and beautiful beaches.

Wake up to birdsong, enjoy the quiet of the countryside, and explore the coastal landscapes of southern Skåne. Whether you're planning beach days, cycling trips, or simply a peaceful retreat in nature, this cottage is a wonderful place to unwind.

The Cottage

Our small log house cottage combines rustic charm with modern comfort and is ideal for couples or families.

Inside, you’ll find a cozy living space with a dining table and a small but well-equipped kitchenette where you can prepare simple meals.

The sleeping area includes:

One double bed (180 cm)
One loft bed (90 cm)

There is also a private bathroom with shower, a TV for relaxing evenings, and high-speed WiFi for your convenience.

Fresh bed linens and towels are provided for all guests.

Private Terrace & Outdoor Living

The cottage features a south-facing private terrace, allowing you to enjoy the sun throughout the day.

It is furnished with a table and chairs and includes a BBQ, making it perfect for relaxed outdoor meals, morning coffee, or warm summer evenings watching the sunset over the fields.

Welcome to Kvarnviks Gård

Kvarnviks Gård is a small historic farm with roots dating back to 1907, when the main house was built. The former stable, originally constructed in 1923, still forms part of the farm and adds to its unique rural atmosphere. The property also features a historic electric mill.

Today the farm offers a peaceful countryside setting where guests can relax, enjoy nature, and experience a slower pace of life.

Our Farm Animals

Life on the farm includes a few friendly animals. We have a small group of chickens that roam in their enclosure and provide fresh eggs. Many guests enjoy watching them and experiencing a little bit of everyday farm life.

Our cat Lilly also lives on the farm and may occasionally come by to say hello.

During your stay you also have access to several shared facilities on the farm:

• Communal terrace for relaxing outdoors

Kvarnviks Gård is located just 2.5 km across the fields from the beautiful white sandy beach of Beddingestrand.

You can reach the beach:

in about 10 minutes by bike
on a scenic walk through the fields
or about 6 km by car

Along the way you’ll pass open farmland and even an alpaca farm.

The surrounding region of Söderslätt in southern Skåne is known for its beautiful coastline, cycling routes, small villages, wineries, and farm shops – perfect for day trips and relaxed exploration.
